Dance and Performing Arts Teacher

Hi, I’m Laura and I offer quality dance, drama and performing arts tuition to individuals of all ages and skill level. I run casual and regular studio class covers, workshops, tutoring and private lessons in Melbourne and Brisbane.

My philosophy is to provide engaging, appropriately challenging and fun classes that allow participants to develop in three key areas:

  • Confidence, creativity and connection
  • Foundations and extension in technique and skill development
  • Enjoyment and appreciation of dance, drama and the performing arts

Laura is a passionate, highly qualified and experienced Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre Teacher. For over a decade she has taught students of all ages and experience in almost every dance style at numerous elite and recreational dance schools around Melbourne and Brisbane. She holds a Master of Teaching (Primary/Secondary Dance and Drama) and Bachelor of Arts with Distinction (Dance/Drama).

Last night I tried the beginner tap class for the first time. Laura made the class really engaging by showing us lots of different tap steps! My favourite part was putting all the steps together into a small choreographed routine. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn a new skill or get back into dance! The class was fun and not intimidating at all! You can do it in the comfort of your own home, and tap shoes optional.
